¡@ ¡@ 2006 Taiwan Career Expo for Overseas Talents is to be held in L.A. on Sept 10, 2006. SCMJ is the principal event organizer working with TECO and also over 20 professional organizations in Southern California as the event co-organizers. We expect about 30 major high-tech companies from Taiwan joining the delegation to recruit young graduates, experienced professionals and retired experts in various technical and business fields, such as semi-conductor, multi-media, software/hardware design, bio-tech, financing, accounting, marketing, R&D, management, teaching...etc. We now have the updated information posted on the SCMJ website: www.scmj.org. Mr. Paul Wang Paul Wang used to work as a high-tech journalist in Taiwan for more than 10 years (1980-1991), and being the leader of many high-tech professional associations such as National Information Infrastructure (NII), Taipei Computer Association, and etc. Mr. Wang is also the board director of Acer TWP Publishing, an Acer group company. Participating high-tech industry, Mr. Wang is the first person to start on-line data service in Taiwan and he also led several innovative projects that enhanced the development of Taiwan high-tech infrastructure in the past years. Mr. Wang has a good relationship with Taiwan government. He is also appointed as the commissioner of Overseas Expert Recruiting Group, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and is devoted to improve the procedures to recruit overseas Chinese hi-tech professionals for both government and hi-tech companies. As Witness and participating in the development of Taiwan high-tech industry, Mr. Wang has built up deep and board connection in the high-tech industry. With the deep involvement, Mr. Wang has the first hand information of human resource demand of Taiwan high-tech industry. Mr. Chih-Yin LiuMr. Chih-Yin Liu is currently the Director of Commercial Division of Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Los Angeles. His previous position was the Director General of Department of International Cooperation. Serving in the Ministry of Economic Affairs since 1977, Mr. Liu has held several important positions that in charge of international economic affairs.
